Born and raised in Romania, Simona trained at the prestigious "I.L. Caragiale" Academy of Acting and Film in Bucharest - a 2 year drama course which included extra training in musical theatre. She also studied at the Art and Music College "Dinu Lipatta" in Romania for 4 years which included vocal training in classical and folk/popular music, before moving to the UK.


Simona is also trained in Musical Comedy, TV Presenting, Voice Over and is a Professional Singer.


A highly skilled and passionate performer, Simona has worked in Musical Theatre and has acted in a number of TV dramas including ‘A Touch of Frost’, ‘The Bill’ and  BBC’s ‘Love Soup’. In 2007 Simona hit the headlines when she reached the finals in the BBC’s ‘How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?’. She performed the song ‘Changes’ in the television contest ‘Eurovision: Your Decision’ in 2008.
